SERVICES
Georgia’s Public Service Commission regulates utilities and approves rate increases on your power bills. The five elected members of the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) determine how much you pay for your utilities each month. You’re impacted by PSC decisions every time you turn on the lights, use your gas stove, or pick up a landline. Knowing who’s making those decisions—and voting accordingly—is how you protect your wallet.

All five seats on the PSC are held by Republicans.
Over the last five years, the GOP-controlled PSC has hiked your power bill by $43 a month.

Georgians haven’t had a chance to vote on Public Service Commissioners in five years. That changes this year.
Republican PSC Commissioners Tim Echols and Fitz Johnson are on the ballot in November.

In 2025, we have a chance to elect Democrats to the Public Service Commission who will protect Georgians’ wallets, not corporate profits.
